At Lumera Skin & Laser, our mission is to provide you with exceptional, dedicated care. When you book an appointment, that time is reserved exclusively for you, our team, and your skin goals.
Because we operate as a boutique clinic, late cancellations and missed appointments impact not only our team but also fellow clients who are waiting for an opening. We are all human, and we entirely understand that life happens, emergencies arise, and schedules change. As long as there is open, timely communication, we will always do our very best to work with you and show flexibility.
To help us respect everyone’s time, we kindly ask that you review and agree to our scheduling policies below:
Reserving an Appointment
All clients are required to keep a valid card on file to reserve appointments.
Late Arrival Policy
Appointments over 15 minutes late may need to be shortened or rescheduled depending on provider schedule.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
We require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for any cancellations or modifications to your appointment. Cancellations or reschedules made with less than 48 hours’ notice may incur a fee equal to 15% of the scheduled treatment cost to the card on file.
No-Show Occurrences
Missing an appointment without any prior notice (a “no-show”) prevents us from offering that time to another client. No-shows will be subject to a fee within the same fee of 15% of the treatment cost.
Repeated Occurrences & Policy Terms
We believe in building a relationship based on mutual respect. In the rare event that a client establishes a pattern of multiple late cancellations or no-shows:
Client may be required to pay for the full cost of the treatment prior to booking any future appointments.
Continuous disruptions to the schedule may result in being discharged from the practice.

At Lumera Skin & Laser, we dedicate our time, advanced clinical expertise, and medical-grade resources to every individual session. Because our services involve customized clinical treatments and human tissue response varies, all cosmetic and medical services are strictly non-refundable.
We want you to know that we completely stand by our work. Our team is deeply committed to your skin health and will always do everything within our realistic, clinical ability to ensure you receive an exceptional treatment and the best possible outcome. However, as outlined in our Results Agreement, individual responses to treatments vary and specific outcomes cannot be guaranteed; therefore, refunds cannot be issued based on aesthetic results.
Prepaid Treatment Plans & Packages
We want your treatment journey to be as seamless and supportive as possible. While package purchases and prepaid services are non-refundable, we understand that your skin’s needs or your personal circumstances may evolve. We are always happy to work with you under the following guidelines:
Treatment Exchanges & Modifications: If your skin’s needs change mid-way through a plan, or if your provider recommends a different clinical approach, we are happy to modify or exchange your remaining prepaid treatments for alternative services of equal value within the clinic, provided the adjustments are clinically appropriate and approved by your provider.
Package Transfers: Prepaid packages and plans are designed specifically for your unique skin goals and are non-transferable to other clients or family members.
Expiration Windows: To ensure optimal results and clinical consistency, all prepaid treatment plans and packages must be utilized within 12 months of the original purchase date. Any unused sessions after this window will automatically expire.
Retail Products
Unopened retail products may be exchanged within 14 days of the original purchase.
